One day the Jews came along, and forced most of those peaceful Palestinians to leave that magical place.

In ‘Israel vs The Palestinians – Part I: An Oppressed People‘, we looked at the ‘Palestinian’ Arab side of the story, and found out that the entire thing is a pack of lies. A basic summary of their story is as follows:

david-and-goliath-colorOnce upon a time, there was a magical land called Palestine. The people of that land were known as the Palestinians, they were a peaceful people and had lived in the land of Palestine for many thousands of years, tracing their ancestry back to the ancient Philistines (who’s lovable giant Goliath was killed by the mean Jewish boy David – but that’s another story). Or possibly they’re descended from the ancient Canaanites – no-one seems to  be quite sure – anyway the point is that they lived peacefully in the land for a long, long time. Until one terrible day, the Jews came along led by the evil Darth Ben-Gurion, and forced most of those peaceful Palestinians to leave that magical place. The kind-hearted Arabs in the surrounding countries wanted desperately to help the Palestinians, but due to lack of space in the Arab countries, the Palestinians had to remain as refugees. Today those Narnians Palestinians that were able remain in their own land, have seen their beloved country renamed ‘Israel’ (after the alternative name of the great deceiver, Jacob) and taken over by the villainous Jews. Not satisfied with having stolen the Palestinians’ land, every day the Jews oppress the peaceful Palestinians who remain and sometimes even shoot their pregnant women.

OK, so I used a bit of artistic licence with this brief summary, but that’s pretty much the gist of the Arab narrative’ and the actual narrative is just as much a work of fiction, as my version.

The Arabs only had to have lived there since 1946 for the UNRWA to class them as refugees.

The ‘Palestinian’ Arabs, claim to have lived in Israel / Palestine for a very long time. However the large numbers present in 1948, could only have happened because of Arabs migrating from the surrounding countries – we saw in part I, that an Arab only had to have lived in the area of land previously know as Palestine since 1946, for the UNRWA to class them as a refugee. For centuries, until the Jews began returning en-mass to Israel (there has been a continual Jewish presence since the time of Joshua), the land then known as Palestine was a virtual wasteland, with only a very small population (see some facts from Harvard here). On 15th September 1857 James Finn, the British Consul in Palestine reported that, “The country is in a considerable degree empty of inhabitants and therefore its greatest need is that of a body of population“. Look at this quote from Mark Twain, following his visit to Palestine in 1867:

Palestine in the 19th Century

Nazareth is forlorn …. Jericho the accursed lies a moldering ruin today, even as Joshua’s miracle left it more than three thousand years ago: Bethlehem and Bethany, in their poverty and their humiliation, have nothing about them now to remind one that they once knew the high honor of the Savior’s presence; the hallowed spot where the shepherds watched their flocks by night, and where the angels sang, “Peace on earth, good will to men,” is untenanted by any living creature… Bethsaida and Chorzin have vanished from the earth, and the “desert places” round about them, where thousands of men once listened to the Savior’s voice and ate the miraculous bread, sleep in the hush of a solitude that is inhabited only by birds of prey and skulking foxes

How evil the Israelis are to kill an innocent pregnant woman.

On 28th April 2016, this headline appeared on the internet: ‘Israeli forces kill pregnant Palestinian woman and brother’. The story behind the headline, was about how evil the Israelis are to kill an innocent pregnant woman and her brother, who rushed to help the poor woman. But is that really the truth? Of course it’s not! In most countries pregnant women are not usually a threat, but Israel is not most countries. This picture of a ‘Palestinian’ children’s play may help to explain things:

Palestinian children show how to stab a Jew

In the play ‘Palestinian’ children act out a Muslim woman attempting to stab an Israeli soldier and then being shot. You can read more about the play and watch the video on the website of British newspaper, The Daily Mail – click here. Interestingly, this article was published on the same day as the remarkably similar story of the pregnant woman, who the Israelis say tried to stab them.

To die as a so called ‘martyr’ is a great honour.

We often see news footage of poor, innocent, ‘Palestinian’ women and children suffering because of the Israelis. But these are not innocent people, these are people whose schools and children’s television programmes teach their children to hate the Jews, and that to die as a so called ‘martyr’ is a great honour. The somewhat disturbing video below shows a ‘Palestinian’ girl encouraging other ‘Palestinian’ children to stab Jews. If you wish to find out more about the appalling things that are the norm on ‘Palestinian’ TV and in their schools, visit Palestinian Media Watch.

Here are a couple more examples of Arab lies concerning Israel:

  • All the events surrounding Kings Saul, David and Rehoboam occurred in Yemen, and no Hebrew remnants were found in Israel, for a very simple reason – because they were never there” – Arab historian Jarid al-Kidwa, on PLO education program, June 1997
  • It is a well-known fact that every year the Jews exaggerate what the Nazis did to them. They claim there were 6 million killed, but precise scientific research demonstrates that there were no more than 400,000″ – PA (Palestinian Authority) Television, Aug. 25, 1997.

The Israelis have no right to the ‘West Bank’.

What about the often repeated line that the Israelis have no right to the ‘West Bank’ and that their presence there is illegal. Is this a lie too? Yes, there is absolutely no truth to it at all. Just because it is reported as fact, doesn’t make it the truth. It is just another lie that has been told so many times, people believe it. The ‘West Bank’ is what the Bible refers to as the mountains of Israel. Want to know the truth about the ‘West Bank’? Watch this:

Arabs take part fully in Israeli society and government.

We will conclude part two of ‘Israel vs The Palestinians’ by looking at the truth behind the claim that Israel is an apartheid state. The truth is that in Israel, Arabs are granted full civil rights under Israeli law, which forbids discrimination on the basis of race, creed, or sex. Did that happen for non-whites in South Africa under apartheid? Um, no! Arabs also take part fully in Israeli society and government. Arab citizens of Israel vote in national elections, have representatives in the Israeli Parliament, sit on the Israeli courts & the Israeli Supreme Court benches, and serve as tenured professors teaching in Israeli colleges and universities. The Arab citizens of Israel have more rights, and enjoy more freedom, education, and economic opportunity than the Arabs of any Arab state. Did you get that last part? The Arabs that live in Israel have more rights and more freedom than the Arabs in actual Arab countries!!!

Before we finish, let me give you something from the Bible (Genesis 21:8-9, New Living Translation): “When Isaac grew up and was about to be weaned, Abraham prepared a huge feast to celebrate the occasion. But Sarah saw Ishmael—the son of Abraham and her Egyptian servant Hagar—making fun of her son, Isaac“. Think that Arab animosity towards the Jews is all about land, and only began recently? Think again – it goes back way further than that, and it has never been about land!

Up next in ‘Israel vs The Palestinians – Part III: The Jewish Claim‘, find out if the Jews have a real claim to the land, or if their side is all lies too.
